The Best Liars in Laya (WIP edition)

Emil was educated and trained all his life to be a politician for the republic of Isla. Too bad he’ll never be one, though—people don’t trust him. He just has that kind of face. That means he can work in the  world of politics, the one they pretend doesn’t exist, where money and power move policy and the players are born into the game instead of elected. And there are no jobs, only favors on top of favors.

Sometimes a not-job goes on for too long and becomes a favorite hobby. In this case, Emil’s search for a mysterious young woman, who might know something about a plot against a future president. He was asked to find her.

He finally did.
